New Favorite Jeans

I recently couldn't find my favorite black jeans .. actually they're black jeggings from j brand and i love them! it doesnt get that cold in winter here in sydney so a pair of jeggings is just the right amount of warmth that i need in winter! i pretty much worth them all winter.. and when i suddenly couldn't find them the other day when the temperature took a sudden dip .. i figured it was time that i went and bought another pair of jeggings... (and no.. i never wear jeans anymore.. for me my jegging looks exactly the same as my jeans.. just 10 times as comfortable.. so why would i ever wear jeans? ) .. so i went on my favorite website for new jeggings...

whilst looking at my usual j brand jeggings (j brand jeans have been the only brand of jeans that i've worn for quite a few years now) .. i decided to check out other brands such as james jeans for jeggings... and found this particular pair:

... and after reading a few reviews decided to give it a go...

and boy was i glad that i did!! i absolutely love love these jeans/jeggings!!! they are sooo comfortable.. its more of a medium waist than a low waist like the j brand jeggings are, and its a lot more stretchy.. which i guess is good and bad at the same time.. good because its actually even more comfy than my j brand jeggings but bad because i'm worried it'll stretch out eventually and won't fit so well anymore... but for now i love them! =) .. they also feel thicker than my j brand ones.. which i guess is good for winter? ... here are some pics from the revolveclothing website..

i like to think these look just as good on my butt as it does on the model here... hehe...

btw.. talking about revolveclothing... i just checked out the elizabeth and james collection.. and i dont think there's a single item i wouldn't loooveee to have in my closet!

Japanese Magazine

The other day I was at our local ramen place.. (genki ramen at artarmon station.. awesome cheap authentic ramen) .. and they always have japanese magazines and manga for you to read whilst you wait for your food or if you don't want to talk to your fellow diners =P ...

and I picked up this particular bright pink one with what i thought was just this random japanese model on the color... when i got to my table and starting reading the mag (well flipping through the pictures since I probably know only like 20 japanese words.. ) ... and realised.. its Nicole Richie!! .. i was like.. woah!!! .. i didn't even recognise her at all!!!

i wanted to take more photos to show you guys but i was embarrassed to take more cos i was sitting with my bf and 2 of his other guy friends.. hehe..

ps. i keep on wanting to do outfit posts, but im either too embarrassed by how messy my room is in the background.. or how shiaty the quality of the photo is... i have my bf's old dslr camera.. but its just so much more convenient with my iphone. .. =P i promise i'll get one up soon!

In the new year

Just came back from brunch for one of the girls belate birthday celebration (happy birthday ellen!!)... soooo full.. but the food was really good... all day breakfast.. =P

We went to Kazbah at Balmain and loved the food.. just wanted to post a few snapshots.. most of these photos are courtesy of the boy..

Started off with sweet cous cous, porridge and rice pudding.. i only have a photo of the cous cous...

Next was the breakfast tagines... one was with pumpkin, the other with lamb.. mmmm...

and of course my favorite... eggs.. sausages.. bacon...

The chance to express ourselves whilst waiting for the last course... unfortunately i dont have a photo of the last course.. which was bigger than head sized pancakes... the chocolate one was devine but by the time they came i was soooo full i only manager a small bite of the chocolate one..

Also just a snippet of NYE... Leftovers from the first meal of 2011... at like 2am... 60 chicken nuggets, several mcdouble burgers.. and a giant bag of fries... yummm... what a wonderful start to my new healthy eating plan.. =P
