happy australia day.. for yesterday...

Yesterday for australia day .. we had a bbq during the day.. and another one at night... and today i just had left over sausages for dinner with bbq sauce... argh... healthy... think i feel sick now...

yesterday during the bbq.. two of the girls came upstairs to help me get the dessert.. and whilst we were up here.. we thought we'll just take a few photos with my bridesmaid dress... and here they are: =) a big thanks to my lovely model and to my co-"stylist".. hehe..

had a great time girls... can't wait to post up the photos from J's camera... =) loving maxi dresses atm ... i'm starting to think that maybe i'm suppose to start dressing "my age"? ... loving a printed maxi dress i saw for only $50 at a random store in my local westfield... can't wait til i can get my hands on some extra $$$ .... in addition to maxi dresses... i'm craving a pair of black j brand skinny jeans... and when i receive them.. i want to rip them!! =P

there's no place like home..

I'm thinking about moving back home by the end of the month.. so as a result i'm trying to rent my apartment out for some extra cash... its actually quite sad for me, cos even though i've only been here in this apartment for just under a year... it was finally starting to feel like home...

the only great thing about it tho... is that i'll finally have some spare money to save for that trip i want to take at the end of the year to korea and then the states (NYC here i come!! ) ... AND the bedroom i had back at my mom's is much bigger than the small bedroom i have now.. thank goodness for more space!! (my current bedroom below... all i can fit is a bed... thank goodness for a built in wardrobe!) ... i'm gonna miss my purple (its a lot more purple than the photo portrays) room tho ... =(

also... last night went to a friend's bday and one of the girls there had on this totally cute black maxi dress... its making me crave another maxi dress now for the summer... i feel like i live in my denim cut off shorts every weekend... its about time i start dressing in something more appropriate for someone in their mid 20's right? (gawd... think this is the first one i've EVER admitted i'm kinda in my mid 20's... *gulp!!) .... any recommendations as to where i can find cheap nice maxi dresses?

weddings??!

Today i went to check out wedding dresses at Abbey's for one of my BFF's upcoming wedding... and omg the number of wedding dresses there were amazing... it was just rows and rows of white/beige/off -whites/egg shell dresses...i think after just 5mins they all started to look really similar..hehe...

they all look the same right? lol..

admittedly, when Cols initially pulled out the dresses she was going to try on.. i wasn't entirely impressed by them.. yes they looked nice... but they didn't look wow.... that was until she came out of the change room with them!! well.. just one of them... i THINK its the one she's holding in the pic?? (i can't remember.. they all looked so similar until she put them on! )... it was absolutely stunning when she walked out of the change room! =) despite the fact that its wayy over her budget... im hoping she'll get it... u looked beautiful in it babe!!!

sorry i don't have any more photos.. but this was all i managed to take before the lady at the boutique told me i had to put my phone/camera away... =( ... oh wells.. guess u guys will just have to wait til the wedding day like everyone else!! hehe..

on the topic of weddings.. the girls and i were discussing engagement rings the other day... and whilst being bored at home i decided to ebay engagement rings (not that i have any plans to get married soon).... and i found the MOST beautiful rings!! *swoon... !! who knew ebay had such amazing choice? hehe..

I just can't get over the detailing... love love love! think i love the one first one more! =P

ALSO... i've been having a leopard print moment these days.. so today after work i dropped by sportsgirl to check out the leopard print skirt i've had my eye on...how lovely does it look on the model?? whilst i loved the cut in person as well.. the color just wasn't what i imagined it to be... was VERY disappointed... =(

OTK

okay, i know right now its smack bang in the middle of summer and amazing hot here in sydney, but i could not help myself today and scored a total bargain with these OTK leather boots! =) i went shopping today with some girls and had the mentality that i would not buy ANYTHING at all... and then it all went down the drain the moment i walked into witchery and saw these classic black leather OTK boots on sale ... wait for it... at almost 75% off!!

and i thought... well.... OTK flat boots ARE on my winter wish list afterall... i just had no plans to buy them til.. well... winter! ... but at 75% off.. i just couldn't resist... and here they are... plain but classic.. and just what i'll be needing every day in a few months time! =)

wedges......mmmm...

Just a total quickie post... but am completely head over heels in love with these shoes... i have been craving wedges for a while now but just haven't found the perfect pair.. until now!!
