summer 2011 part 2

okay.. just cos i haven't updated in 2 months.. i thought i'll add another post for summer 2011... i mean.. afterall.. doesn't summer deserve at least 2 posts? .. summer is my favorite season afterall.. =) ..

just some more food drools from my week off.. =) ..

During our week off we also went to the hunter valley (NSW wine country) for one of the girls bday... and just wanted to post my favorite pic from the trip! =) ... had an absolute fab time.. we rented a 4 bedder house literally in the middle of nowhere!!! .. was soo deserted.. pretty much like the settings of a horror movie... haha.. but nevertheless had a great time.. one of the girls got attacked by a wombat (yes... wombat!! ) .. and even the boy was chased by a wombat too!! .. vicious creatures i tell u!

summer 2011

can't believe summer is already over for another year.. i think i only managed to go to the beach 3 times... =( .... last week the boy and i took a week off work just to hang around the city and celebrate our 6 year anniversary together... usually he HATES going to the beach.. but for the occasion of our anniversary.. he took me to the beach..

loved loved loved the beach... we went to balmoral beach which is my absolute favourite! .. its a small local beach but i love it.. the waves are smallish and the waters are warm and easy to swim in... and because its only a small local beach there's usually not that many people... extra bonus!

just also wanted to add some photos from dessert that night.. we went to baroque restaurant at the rocks recommended by a good friend.. it was soooo good!! ... and edible gold specks! yummm! haha..

this was the passionfruit souffle.. it was divine.. and the chocolate and passionfruit macaroon.. mmmm....
